Happy October Semillas Families! As the seasons change, we’re looking for another month of learning, exploring, and growing together.
We are excited to welcome two new little learners to our community!
Adan joins our Pre-K group, and his baby brother Ezequiel, joins our infant group. We are so happy to have them and their family growing with us!
A New Way to Stay Connected
Beginninging this month, our Weekly Forecast will transition to a Monthly Newsletter in Seedlings and on the Brightwheel app.
The newsletter will give families a look at what’s happennig at Semillas, including learning highlights, program updates, reminders, family resources, and ideas you can enjoy together at home.
Monthly Menu Coming Soon!
A Semillas Monthly Menu is also in the works! My goal is to make it easier for families to see what meals and snacks are planned throughouot the month. More details will be shared soon in Seedlings.
October Reminders
Minnesota Fall weather can change quickly! Please make sure your child has extra clothes, shoes, a coat, and appropriate outdoor gear at program. We will continue enjoying outdoor play and exploration whenever weather permits.
Growing Our Semillas Community
We are excitd to begin welcoming student volunteers from Metropolitan State University, where I earned my degree in child development and education. These volunteers will have an opportunity to gain experience in an early chidhood setting while supporting the learning and expereinces happening at Semillas.
A Note to our Parents
Parents, the work you are doing everyday matters.
The routines, boundaries, hugs, conversations, meals, bedtime stories, and countless little things you do are helping build the foundation your child will carry into the future.
Keeping your kiddos safe, healthy, loved, and supported is important work. You are raising future learners, thinkers, helpers, leaders, and community members-and you are doing and amazing job.
