Friday Forecast

Hola!

Let’s take a look ahead to the coming week at Semillas! Monday through Friday will bring a heavy focus of learning about our feelings with a sprinkle of one of our favorite songs; ¡Si Eres Feliz y lo sabes!

Together we will read ¡Yo Soy! by Barbosa and Edel Rdriguez. We will also explore mirrors, emotion cards, family photos, and dramatic play materials.

Outdoor we will take some nature walks and talk about how nature can help us feel calm, curious, excited, or peaceful. Word of the Week “Feliz” happy will be scattered throughout everyday of the coming week. “Feliz” may linger into the late afternoons and evening hours at home.

At Semillas, we believe that helping children understand & express their emotions is just as important as learning letters & numbers. When children feel safe, understood, & connected, they develop the confidence to explore, learn, & build meaningful relationships.
