Good Friday, Semillas Familias! Our forecast is in, and warm connections are moving into Semillas next week.

We are expecting plenty of family, friendship, bilingual learning, and play, with a very high chance of smiles throughout the week.

Monday’s forecast: Family Stories

We will start the week with The Family Book/El Libro de la Famila by Todd Parr, exploring the many wonderful ways families can look.

Music Moving In

Expect periods of dancing, singing, and movement as we pratice family words in English and Spansih.

Play Conditions: Excellent

Family photos, dolls, mirrors, pretend play will move into the learning environment as children explore familiar faces, relationships, and caring for others.

Developmental Oulook

A strong system of Social-Emotional learning will remain with us all week. We’ll pratice belonging, kindness, recognizing familiea people, & building friendships.

Spanish Word of the Week: Familia - Family

Try this week’s phrase at home: “Esta es mi familia” - “This is my family”

Family Connection

There’s 100% chance of family time! Choose a favorite family phooto & look at it together. Point out familar faces, say their names, & share a special memory.

Outdoor Outlook

While outside, keep an eye out for animals spending time together. Do animals have Familia’s y Amigos, too?
